Caguas (Puerto Rico)
Caguas es un municipio de Puerto Rico fundado en 1775. Está dividido en 10 barrios: Bairoa, Río Cañas, Cañabón, Cañaboncito, Tomás de Castro, Beatriz, Puerto Rico, Villa Turabo, Borinquen y San Salvador (Caguas). Está ubicado en un valle en la parte centro-este de la isla, a menos de 20 millas de la ciudad capital, San Juan. Se le conoce como "El Valle del Turabo" y "La Ciudad Criolla". Su nombre se origina de "Caguax", cacique taíno del valle que ocupa actualmente esta ciudad de 58.6 millas cuadradas. A los nacidos en este pueblo se les llama Cagüeños.
